Beautiful Maternity Session!
{Milwaukee Wisconsin Maternity Photographer}

I love, love maternity sessions.  Such a beautiful and precious time in a woman’s life.  Back with I was pregnant 12 and almost 10 years ago, I never thought of having pictures taken of me with my babies in my belly…. and now, I wish I would have.  It’s one of the most amazing experiences us as woman (and even the daddy’s 🙂 ) will ever have and one that is well worth remembering through photographs.  This mom and dad were amazing to work with and you could just tell how already in love they were with their unborn child and how precious their two beautiful daughters who were to them. They were both so shy but soooo sweat and cute.  I can not wait to be with this family in a couple short weeks when the new little one arrives.  🙂  Anyway “J” family, it was wonderful meeting all of you and I will be seeing you again very soon.

Snowy Engagement Session!
{Waukesha Wisconsin Engagement Photographer}

There is nothing better than after a photo session, going through all the photos picking the best of the best to edit and finding yourself smiling the entire time.  These two were amazing and so much fun.  Even braving the bitter cold weather.  When we were finished, it was 17deg and it ended is a hysterical snow fight.  LOL  Anyway, I really enjoyed my time with you (and mom too 🙂 ) and I hope you both had a good time too and enjoy your photos for years and years to come.  🙂  Congratulations!

Fun in the Snow!
{Southeastern Wisconsin Portrait Photographer}

This couple is so awesome and a ton of fun.  They have been together for 7 years and have never had professional pictures taken.  So, when Ms. L called and said they wanted pictures and was also hoping for a snow session.  I instantly got excited.  I love these couples session and I love snow sessions just as much.  🙂  We decided to wait it out a little bit until we got a little more snow.  On Thursday we got a knew batch of beautiful snow so we set the session up for Friday.  It was perfect out.  Almost 40deg, sunny and freshly brewed snow.  🙂  I think they had a lot of fun…. see last image in the sneak peek for proof.  LOL  After he “body slammed” her to the ground and they wrestled in the snow… they made snow angels and had a little bit of a snowball fight… hahaha… they were so cute.  Anyway, Mr. J and Ms. L, I had a lot of fun with you two and I from the looks of it, you had a good time too.  🙂  Here is a little sneak peek for you while you are waiting for the rest of your images.  Also, feel free to click on the “add a comment” link below this post to leave me a comment.  I’d love to know what you think so far.  ~Kimberly

Milwaukee Yacht Club!
{Southeastern Wisconsin Portrait Photographer}

I had a wonderful time yesterday evening at the Milwaukee Yacht Club photographing their 139th annual Commissioning Ceremony.  The Commissioning Ceremony is the opening of the Yacht Club and marks the beginning of the boating season.  The Commodore and officers were brought to the dock by boat and the proceedings began.  The deceased members from the past year were recognized and a wreath was laid in the water in memory of these members.  The American Flag was raised and the National Anthem played.  Then the club cannon was fired.  I have never been to an event such at this and it was an amazing experience with a bunch of amazing people….. and lets not forget the very, very beautiful evening.  To the yacht club members, you should have received a card from Kimberly Ann Photography with the dates the images from the ceremony will be posted on-line and instructions on how to view them.  If you did not, please contact Kimberly at info@kimberlyannphotography.com or call 262-492-3893.  They will be available beginning June 7th, 2010.  But, in the meantime, enjoy a little sneak peek of a few images from the ceremony.  Also, please feel free to click on the “add a comment” below this post and leave me a comment.  Thank-you, Kimberly

Lovin’ Me Some Springtime!
{Southeastern Wisconsin Portrait Photographer}

Although we’ve had a lot of rain the last few weeks and very few day of warm weather… sometimes feeling a little more like winter is coming and not summer… I am still so excited for Spring to finally be here.  I was supposed to have a photo session today but the little kiddos were sick.  🙁  It was such a beautiful day today so, I didn’t want it to go to waste.  I just had to get out.  I didn’t have people subjects but I did find other subjects that were very photogenic today.  Ohhhhh how I love me some springtime.  🙂  Enjoy the images below!  Kimberly

Is it a Boy or Is it a Girl? Beautiful Maternity!
{Milwaukee Wisconsin Newborn/Maternity Photographer}

Another rockin’ and fun session.  I was a little worried at first because the radar showed rain coming our way… April showers brings May flowers.  🙂  So, we ended up meeting a little early “just in case”.  But, by the time we started the photo session, the sky was clearing up and it was gorgeous out.  And speaking of gorgeous, isn’t this mama to be gorgeous?  This is their first baby and she just glows with beauty.  I can’t wait to photograph their little peanut when he or she arrives.  🙂  Anyway, J and M, it was wonderful finally meeting you… you were both awesome and fun to work with.  Here is a little sneak peek for you… enjoy.  🙂  And, while you are visiting my blog, I would love it if you would click on the “add a comment” link below this post and leave me a comment.  I’d love to know what you think so far.  Thank-you, Kimberly

“Opening the Class of 2011 Schedule With a Contest”

Kimberly Ann is scheduling 2011 seniors now and I thought a fun contest would be a fun way to kick off the season.

I am looking for new and fun locations.  This is an easy, easy contest.   All you have to do is take me to a location I have never held a photo session before for YOUR photo session and receive a $50.00 print credit.  Told ya, it’s easy.  The only rules I have are that 1) this location MUST be public property.  Can not be your home, your neighbors home, your Grandparents home etc…. must be public and 2) MUST be within 30 miles radius of zip code 53120.    That’s it.  So, get going and get creative.  Think parks, river walks, urban locations such as alley ways, fire escape stairways and big buildings etc…. if you have any questions, please feel free to ask.
