5 Day Old Newborn Baby Boy!!!
{Northern ILL Newborn Photographer}

This little guy is a Good Friday baby born at 7 pounds 7 ounces and only 5 days old when we photographed him.  He was sooooo good for us.  It took him awhile to go to sleep, he was fighting it all the way.  But once he was out, he was in what I call a “milk coma” and just did an outstanding job.  He is welcomed home by of course mom and dad and his big sister Ms. S who just adored him…. and I just adored her.  I had a hard time not following her around with my camera but had to keep reminding myself that I was there to photograph the baby.  LOL  She was just to cute for words.

Anyway, it was so good meeting you and your beautiful family.  Mary Ann and I had a great time with you at your home and we hope to see you again soon.

Firefighters are Hero’s!!!
{Southeastern Wisconsin Portrait Photographer}

This was not my ordinary portrait session… to say the least.  But, it was a pretty neat experience if I do say so myself.  The East Troy Fire department asked me if I would be willing to volunteer my time this past weekend to photograph a practice burn and I was happy to do so. It’s amazing what these men and women go through when it comes to these roaring fires.  The heat was incredible and I was standing back, far back and not going in this burning house like they were. They are truly amazing and like they say “Firefighters save hearts and homes.”

Newborn Baby Boy!!!
{Waterford WI Newborn Photographer}

This little guy was soooooo good and so, so, so cute.  As you may know, I typically love photographing newborns when they are around 6-10 days old.  However, sometimes it doesn’t work out like that.  Most mom’s will call while they are still pregnant (which is awesome) and many will also do a maternity photo session with us as well like this momma did.  But sometimes things happen that are out of our control. This poor little peanut was born with a broken collar bone so we opted to wait until he was healed as I would definitely rather work with an older newborn verses the risk of hurting him more trying to photograph him.  So, now at 5.5 weeks and all healed and doing much, much better… he was a dream to work with.  He was awake for a majority of the session but then at the end we totally lost him in dream land and he was putty in our hands.  🙂

It was so good to see you again mom and it was great to meet you dad.  You have such a precious little guy.  I know the first few weeks and even a couple of months are hard with a newborn and the lack of sleep is a killer.  But, don’t blink because that is how fast it will go by.

Beautiful Couple and Their Family!!!
{Southeastern WI Portrait Photographer}

This session was hmmm, interesting.  LOL  I’ve photographed families, children or high school seniors before with their dog but the most I’ve ever done was 2 dogs at a time.  So, this couple with 4 dogs was a bit of a challenge for me.  They were GREAT dogs but they do have a mind of their own and at times would turn around so I was photographing their butts, or they would just simply walk out of the photo.  LOL Some of the outtake photos are pretty darn funny.  Hahaha…. But, they all did great job.  Even “hyper” dog… and for those of  who know this couple, should know which one I am referring to.  LOL

Anyway, it was great meeting the two of you are your “family”.  Here is a little sneak peek for you and the rest are just about ready for you. While you are visiting my blog, feel free to leave me a note down below, I always love to hear what you think.  You can also click on one of the “sharing is sexy” buttons to share with family and friends.  Thank-you, Kimberly
