Beautiful Senior Girl, Class of 2013!!!
{Mukwonago Wisconsin High School Senior Photographer}

Our senior Class of 2013 is just beginning but I am already having so much fun and I am really looking forward all we have in store.

Here is Ms. E. I photographed her and her family about 4 years ago and was so happy when mom contacted me again to photograph her eldest child’s class of 2013 senior portraits.  I can not believe she is going to be a senior this year.  It didn’t seem like 4 years ago when I was photographing her and her family and she was just hitting her teenage years. She sure has turned into a beautiful young lady.

Anyway, here is a little sneak peek for you and while you are visiting the blog, feel free to leave a comment for me down below this post to let me know what you think so far and/or click on one of the “sharing is sexy” buttons below this post to share with family and friends.  Thank-you, Kimberly

She’s 6 Months Old!!!
{Racine WI Child/Family Photographer}

Wow, time sure flies and babies grow so fast.  It really is true what they say “don’t blink or you will miss it”…. cherish each and every moment because time will not stand still and before you know it she will be off to school, off to collage then getting married and having babies of her own…. and you will be thinking, where did the time go?  I know because my babies are now 13 and 11 and I ask myself this very question every single day.  Watching your children grow is one of life’s greatest experiences.   And, it is also one of the most rewarding aspects of my job.  Watching my clients children grow.  I photographed mommy when she was pregnant with Ms. K and then did her newborn photos as well.  And now to see her 6 months later is so amazing to me.  Her precious little smile, her endless “taking”, her new little teeth etc.

I LOVE my job.  🙂

Thank-you “E” family for bringing Ms. K back to me for her 6 month photos.  It was so good to see you 3 again and I hope to see you again in another 6 months when she turns ONE.  🙂

Beautiful Mommy To Be!!!
{Southeastern WI Maternity/Newborn Photographer}

This mommy to be is as beautiful on the inside as she is on the out and I can not wait to meet baby C when he or she arrives sometime in early July. I have known baby C’s dad since I was 4 years old and this is going to be one lucky little baby.  He or she has some amazing parents and I could not be happier for them.

It was so good to see you Mommy and I am really looking forward to meeting your new bundle of joy soon.

Fly Away…. Class of 2013!!!
{Southeastern Wisconsin and Northern Illinois High School Senior Photographer}

So, my first Class of 2013 of the year and he rocked it.  We had a ton of fun and I loved, loved going to the airport where he has been taking flying lessons now for almost a year.  Mom, bless your heart.  I can not imagine my baby driving a car let alone flying a plane.  LOL  Anyway, not only was I excited for this session because I knew we were going to the airport which I thought was really cool… but, Mr. K’s brother was one of my very first seniors many years ago.  Mom was my daughters pre-school teacher way back in the day…. she’s 13 now to give you an idea.  🙂  Anyway, mom asked, “so, do you do high school senior photos?”…. and I was like “hmmm, no, but I can.”  LOL…. and, thanks to mom, it is now one of my favorite seasons and I have not looked back.  🙂

Anyway, it was really, really good seeing you all again and I really had a lot of fun…. hope you did too Mr. K.  🙂

Here is a little sneak peek for you while you are waiting to see the rest of your images… and, while you are visiting my blog, please feel free to leave a comment down below this post… I always love knowing what you think.  Thank-you, Kimberly

11 Day Old Newborn Baby Girl!!!
{Southeastern WI Newborn Photographer}

This little girl is an Easter Baby, born on Easter Sunday.  We did her session at 11 days old.  She was so good and so cute.  Look at those chubby cheeks.  I just loved them and it was so hard to not kiss all over her.  LOL  She did NOT want to sleep though.  We were with them for about 4 hours and this little girl was awake the entire time.  I bet she slept like a little princess after we left though.  I think we really tired her out.  🙂  Even though she didn’t want to sleep for us, she still did a really good job and barely fussed.  She also gave us some great eye contact which is always hard to capture with a newborn.  But little girl was all eyes.  🙂

Anyway, “M” family, it was really great working with you again and meeting the new addition to your family.

Here is a little sneak peek for you and while you are visiting my blog, feel free to click on the comments section below this post to “leave me a note” and/or click on one of the “sharing is sexy” buttons below this post to share with family and friends.  Thank-you, Kimberly

Keep Growing, Keep Learning!!!

I am a learner, a believer and an experimenter.  Once I think I know everything there is to know, I give up and I will never give up….
therefore, I keep learning, questioning and experimenting.   – Kimberly Ann   🙂

I attended two workshop, seminars the last two weekends.  Both of these workshops were lighting workshops with 3 master lighting
photographers.  The first one was in Appleton with Michael Mowbray and his “Flash Dancing” workshop.  The 2nd was the “nLIGHTn Tour”
with Michael Mowbray (yes again… I’m a stalker.  LOL)… Michael is known for his mastery of using speedlites, Dan Frievalt taught natural
lighting with a blend of on location strobe lighting and Pierre Stephenson is a master at all low-light situations.  Talk about brain overload.
LOL….

Anyway, I can not wait to get out and implement these knew techniques that I have learned over the course of the last two weekends.
It IS going to be a rockin’ season and I am so excited to share it all with you.

Here are some of the images created at these workshops….
