“Opening the Class of 2011 Schedule With a Contest”

Kimberly Ann is scheduling 2011 seniors now and I thought a fun contest would be a fun way to kick off the season.

I am looking for new and fun locations.  This is an easy, easy contest.   All you have to do is take me to a location I have never held a photo session before for YOUR photo session and receive a $50.00 print credit.  Told ya, it’s easy.  The only rules I have are that 1) this location MUST be public property.  Can not be your home, your neighbors home, your Grandparents home etc…. must be public and 2) MUST be within 30 miles radius of zip code 53120.    That’s it.  So, get going and get creative.  Think parks, river walks, urban locations such as alley ways, fire escape stairways and big buildings etc…. if you have any questions, please feel free to ask.

David Glover at Pure Hair & Body!
{Southeastern Wisconsin Photographer}

This was a different kind of session/photo shoot for me.  Stepping outside my little box for a bit  LOL  and taking a photojournalist approach to my photography. I had an exciting morning at Pure Hair & Body in Elkhorn where David Glover came to the salon to meet and talk to the stylists about Kevin Murphy’s amazing products.  They learned many new techniques and styles from David and I am sure they are very excited to share with their clients.  David Glover is a session stylist who’s amazing talent can be found  in magazines such as Vogue, Marie Claire, Elle and Harpers Bazaar. David has worked on some of the most famous catwalk shows in London, Paris and Milan.  He has styled many top models and celebrities such as Heidi Klum, Linda Evangelista, Elle McPherson, Tyra Banks & Helena Christensen.  Anyway, I had an amazing time and wanted to share a few of the shots with you.  It was wonderful meeting the owner of Pure Hair & Body, Cynthia and her amazing stylists.  Thank-you for contacting me and sharing the experience with me, Kimberly

Beautiful 7 Month Old Baby Boy!
{Southeastern Wisconsin Child Photographer}

This little guy was supposed to come in for his 6 months photos a few weeks ago.. but, he got sick.  🙁  So, we re-scheduled the session for today.  And what a day it was…. GORGEOUS!!!!!!  So, we went ahead as scheduled and did some studio images of Mr. H but then we headed out to the park for some images including Big sister Ms. O and a couple family images as well.  It was just way to nice out to not take advantage of it… especially since the forecast is calling for several inches of snow this weekend.  Grrrrrr…. I am so done with winter and so ready for Spring.  I just love these gorgeous, warm, Spring days but the teasers are killing me.  🙁  Ooooo, so sorry, “L” family, I just turned this blog post into a “whoa is me” post.  LOL  Okay, back on topic….. Loved this family, loved the kids and loved the weather…. what more could one ask for.  🙂  So, now on to the sneak peek.  Enjoy!  While you are visiting my blog, click on the “add a comment” link below this post and leave me a comment.  I’d love to know what you think so far.  Thank-you, Kimberly

Trash The Dress Vegas Style!
{Southeastern Wisconsin Photographer}

I had the opportunity this week to go to a photographers convention in Las Vegas.  The whole experience was amazing.  Well, except for the terrible flight problems on the way there AND on the way back.  But, that is a whole nother blog post.  LOL  Anyway, I took some amazing classes with some amazing speakers, I got to see some amazing new photography products, and I got to meet some new amazing friends who I’ve only known virtually.  So, as you can see… it was an amazing experience and one that I will definitely do again.  Also while I was in Las Vegas, I had the opportunity to step outside of my comfort zone and I shot some beuatiful models for a “Trash the Dress” session Vegas style.  It was a ton of fun and would love to incorporate this type of work into my high school senior sessions in their prom dresses.  I took a ton of images and would like to share a few with you.  I hope you like them.  While you are visiting my blog, click on the “leave a comment” link below this post and leave me a comment.  I would love to know what you think.  Thank-you, Kimberly

Beautiful 7 Month Old Baby Girl!
{Southeastern Wisconsin Child Photographer}

Warning…. broken record coming…. The best part of my job is being able to watch these precious children grow.  I LOVE it.  Okay, broken record complete.  LOL  I photographed this precious beauty when she was about 2 months old and now again at 7 months old.  Here is her 2 month session sneak peek Beautiful Baby Girl.  She sure makes a lot more noise than she did back then.  Lots of cute little squeals and she loves her toes.  LOL  Anyway, mom, I know you are anxious to see some images from our session this morning so, here is a little sneak peek for you.  🙂  While you are visiting my blog, click on the “add a comment” link below this post and leave me a comment.  I’d love to know what you think so far.  Thank-you, Kimberly

Sugar and Spice!
{Muskego Wisconsin Child Photographer}

This session kept me smiling from beginning to end.  It was so much fun with little Ms. M’s beautiful blue eyes and gorgeous smile, which, she showed me that smile a lot.  🙂  Gotta love that.  A happy little girl.  And, she’s stylin’ too.  Mom is an “Etsy” shopper and I love me some Etsy.  If you’ve never heard of it, you need to check it out…. www.etsy.com.   But, I’m warning you, it can be addicting, so watch out.  LOL  Anyway, it was wonderful meeting the both of you and I hope you had a wonderful experience so far.  🙂  Here is a little sneak peek for you from our session today.  And, while you are visiting my blog, click on the “add a comment” link below this post and leave me a comment.  I’d love to know what you think so far.  Thank-you, Kimberly

Beautiful Sisters!
{Lake Geneva Wisconsin Child Photographer}

I do know that I said this before but feel that it is worth repeating… One of my favorite parts of my job is watching kids grow and families blossom from 2 to 3 and 3 to 4 etc.  I have been photographing these sisters for a couple of years now.  Ms, A is now 4 years old and I first photographed her when she was 18 months and mama was still pregnant with Little Ms. I, now 2 years old.  I first photographed her when she was 3 months old.  Every time mom calls to schedule a session, I get all giddy inside because I can’t wait to see them and how the girls have grown. 🙂  I just love this family to death and again, love being able to watch the girls grow.  Anyway, it was wonderful (obviously LOL) seeing you all again.  I had another fabulous time with you.  So, I know you are waiting, so here is your sneak peek.  While you are visiting my blog, click on the “add a comment” link below this post and leave me a comment.  I’d love to know what you think so far.  Thank-you, Kimberly

One Year Old Cake Smash!
{Southeastern Wisconsin Child Photographer}

This little girl was as pretty as a princess.  I thought, she seems to delicate to dive into that cake.  We started the session with some “pretty” little girl images and she did very well.  Then we broke out the cake.  She did not hesitate for one minute.  Her finger went in first, then her foot (LOL) and then by the time we were done, she was covered in it.  Mom and I were like “hmmm, now what?”  LOL  A towel and a couple of wet wipes were not going to cover it.  So, I ran her a bath.  LOL  She was so cute and sweet and I loved every minute of our session together. I hope little Ms. “L” enjoyed having cake for breakfast too.  🙂  Anyway, here is a little sneak peek for you and while you are visiting my blog, click on the “add a comment” link below this post and leave me a comment.  I’d love to know what you think so far.  Thank-you, Kimberly
