Have I ever told you how much I love my job? If not, I will now. I LOVE MY JOB!!!!! I honestly can not believe it took me 30 years to find something I truly loved or as some may say “my calling”. LOL This young lady and her mother came to me from a couple hours away and poor things got stuck in Milwaukee rush hour traffic. Oh the horror. LOL But, when they finally made it to our destination of choice, we had an absolute blast. Ms. A is just so dang cute and really didn’t need much direction at all. She was a natural. 🙂 Anyway, I know they are anxious to see a sneak peek from the session so here it is. 🙂 Ms. A, I had a blast working with you and look forward to seeing you in a few more weeks when you get to view all your images. I can’t wait to see the look on your face. But, in the meantime, enjoy your sneak peek and while you are visiting my blog, feel free to click on the “add a comment” link below this post to leave me a comment. I’d love to know what you think so far and about your experience with Kimberly Ann Photography. Thank-you, Kimberly
Beautiful Girl – Class of 2011 Senior!!
“Sha la la la la la la la ti da Brown Eyed Girl” – Class of 2011 Senior!!
{Waterford Wisconsin High School Senior Photographer}
So, I spent a couple of hours with this beautiful brown eyed girl yesterday and guess what song kept playing over and over in my head? Well, if you can’t figure it out from the title of this post, then I’m not gonna tell ya. LOL We started out the day with a BIG fear of rain. The weathermen had called for rain on Tuesday for the last few days. Even Tuesday morning when I got out of bed, they were still calling for rain. However, from past experience, I have learned not to freak out. By the time the weather was on TV again at noon, they took the rain out of the forecast. See, knocking on wood does work. LOL So, yes, we managed to rid the rain outta the forecast but not the heat and humidity. It was HOT HOT HOT….. but, we managed and had a wonderful time despite the heat. Anyway Ms. K, I really, really hope you enjoyed the experience and hope you enjoy your sneak peek below. Beautiful Blue Eyes – Class of 2011 Senior!!
{Southeastern Wisconsin High School Senior Photographer}
This young lady has very beautiful eyes. I have blue eyes myself so am a little bias when it comes to blue eyes but, blue eyes and dark hair = love. 🙂 Also, this blue eyed beauty was way, way ahead of the game when it came to getting her senior pictures done. She contacted me LAST August. She told me that she really, really wanted me to do her senior pictures and all her friends told her, “well, you better contact her now.” LOL I told her that her friends are very smart. However, I do not schedule that far in advance and told her to contact me to set something up in March. She did just that…. she contacted me again on March 1st to be exact. LOL She’s awesome and after all that, I was really excited about our session together and was just as excited to play with a couple of her images and get a sneak peek together for her. So, Ms. S…. I do know how excited you are to see your sneak peek. I mean, ya only told me 10 times. Hahaha! So, now you don’t have to wait any more cause here it is. I hope you enjoyed the experience as much as I enjoyed my time with you. While you are visiting my blog, feel free to click on the “add a comment” link below this post and leave me a comment. Awesome and Fun Family!
{Menomonee Falls Wisconsin Family Photographer}
What another beautiful day for a photo session. Again, we were a little worried because we both heard rain on and off ALL day long and it was raining and very gloomy in the morning. But, when the sun came out, it never went away. So once again, we lucked out. Anyway, I had a ton of fun with this family. They laughed a lot and new how to work it for the camera. When mom called, she told me that she loves artistic and fun. Not a lot of stiffy type posing and that is why she picked me. I was honored to be their chosen photographer. Anyway, “M” family, it was great meeting you all and I had a blast working with you. Here is a little sneak peek for you while you are waiting on the rest of your images. Pretty as a Princess – Class of 2011 Senior!!
{Southeastern Wisconsin High School Senior Photographer}
Another awesome High School Senior session and one that we didn’t think would happen on schedule. All week long the forecast called for rain on and off all day. We didn’t have a drop and had absolutely gorgeous weather. Beautiful breeze and sun. Loved it. And Ms. J hear did an awesome job. She is sooooo stinking cute. I told her I thought she looked like Snow White and apparently I was right on track becuase there were a lot of stories behind that. 🙂 So, I am not the only one that thinks she is as pretty as a Princess. 🙂 We were at a park in Milwaukee, one I have been to numerous times. However, this time we went scouting for new shooting locations in the park and I was in Awe. Also, in some of these new locations, Ms. J and I were frog hunting while taking pictures. LOL Frogs, baby frogs, everywhere. It was so cool. We both love frogs. 🙂 Also, we both have a phobia. Mine being bees and hers being spiders. We protected each other from these natures bad beasts. Hahaha! No, seriously… we did. LOL Anyway, I had an awesome time with you Ms. J and your family. I hope you enjoyed the experience. So, now, on to your sneak peek. Class of 2011 Senior!
{Southeastern Wisconsin High School Senior Photographer}
The post below this one was my very first class of 2011 senior and this one is the first boy from the class of 2011. This is going to be one heck of a year and it has already gotten off to an amazing start. However, just an FYI if anyone reading this hasn’t figured it out yet, the mosquitoes are horrible…. I mean bad, bad. Bug spray did help but they were still swarming us. It was ridiculous. And yep, this is the same complaint I had from the first class of 2011 senior girl below this post. LOL As you can see, I hate mosquitoes. Okay, so, enough about the bugs…. Mr. A did an awesome job and he has the best eyes ever. It was such a gorgeous evening for the session and with all the rain we have been having lately, mom was really worried that we might end up with a rain out. But, nope, it was gorgeous. We started the session with a couple of family shots and then Mr. A and I were on our way. I have known him and his family for years. Mr. A was actually just a baby when I met him for the first time. My daughter is 6 years younger than him, and not to embarrass the kids but she had the hugest crush on him when she was little. Awhhhhh! LOL Anyway, Mr. A, I can’t beleive your going to be a senior and graduating next year. Wow how time flies. Congratulations to you and I hope you have the best year of your life! Anyway, here is a little sneak peek for you. Also, while you are visiting my blog, feel free to click on the “add a comment” link below this post to leave me a comment. First Class of 2011 Senior of the Year!
{Southeastern Wisconsin High School Senior Photographer}
What an AWESOME way to kick off the start to an extremely busy class of 2011 year. I had such a good time with this lovely young lady yesterday evening. It was a little to hot and humid for words though and we also could have done without all those nasty mosquitoes. But, other than that, she did amazing. We started off in this beautiful garden area in Burlington. However, both of us forgot our bug spray. 🙁 We tried for a whole maybe 5 minutes but we could not take the mosquitoes. They were out in full force ready to suck our blood. Luckily for us and Ms. N’s quick thinking we saw a gardener when we pulled in and like Ms. N said “she doesn’t look like she’s getting attacked.” LOL She we asked her if she had any bug spray and yippee, she did. So, off we went again and it was soooo much better….. still hot and humid, but the mosquitoes were now kept at bay. 🙂 So then we headed off to another location where Ms. N braved it and got in the water to cool off. 🙂 Again, Ms, N, I had an awesome time with you and really hope you enjoyed the experience as well. Anyway, I know you are anxious to see your sneak peek, so wait no more because here it is. 🙂 While you are visiting my blog, feel free to click on the “add a comment” link below this post and leave me a comment. Fun, Fun Family!
{Southeastern Wisconsin Family Photographer}
I am so happy we finally got this session in. We started scheduling this session back in March/April. However, with extended family sessions, it’s hard to get every-one’s schedule in sync and with one rain/snow day in the mix, we finally got it in. I wasn’t sure if it would even work out this time due to fog and gloom, but we got it in. We had a little mist during the session but that was not enough to scare us away. It turned out to be an awesome session and at least I wasn’t fighting the sun. 🙂 I have photographed these families individually several times but never all together. In fact, individually, they have been keeping me very busy. 🙂 I was also so happy to see Grandma and Grandpa there for a few fun photos with their 3 daughters and all their beautiful Grand kids. That was an awesome surprise seeing 1) Grandma comes to almost every session I have had with her daughters families but is never in any of the photos and 2) this was originally supposed to be a Mothers Day Gift for her but unfortunately, like I said above, we had to reschedule a few times. So, it was great to see them involved in the photos this time around. So, “G” family, here is a little sneak peek for you which I know you are anxiously awaiting. We did so many unique and fun groupings and individuals I wish I could show you more now. However, if I did that, it wouldn’t be a sneak peek. LOL So, I just had to choose a few for you for the time being. You all are awesome and it was great to see you all again.
