Pretty as a Princess – Class of 2011 Senior!!
{Southeastern Wisconsin High School Senior Photographer}

Another awesome High School Senior session and one that we didn’t think would happen on schedule.  All week long the forecast called for rain on and off all day.  We didn’t have a drop and had absolutely gorgeous weather.  Beautiful breeze and sun.  Loved it.  And Ms. J hear did an awesome job.  She is sooooo stinking cute.  I told her I thought she looked like Snow White and apparently I was right on track becuase there were a lot of stories behind that.  🙂  So, I am not the only one that thinks she is as pretty as a Princess.  🙂  We were at a park in Milwaukee, one I have been to numerous times.  However, this time we went scouting for new shooting locations in the park and I was in Awe.  Also, in some of these new locations, Ms. J and I were frog hunting while taking pictures.  LOL  Frogs, baby frogs, everywhere.  It was so cool.  We both love frogs.  🙂  Also, we both have a phobia.  Mine being bees and hers being spiders.  We protected each other from these natures bad beasts.  Hahaha!  No, seriously… we did.  LOL  Anyway, I had an awesome time with you Ms. J and your family.  I hope you enjoyed the experience.  So, now, on to your sneak peek.  While you are visiting my blog, feel free to click on the “add a comment” link below this post to leave me a comment.  I’d love to know what you think so far.  ~Kimberly

Class of 2011 Senior!
{Southeastern Wisconsin High School Senior Photographer}

The post below this one was my very first class of 2011 senior and this one is the first boy from the class of 2011.  This is going to be one heck of a year and it has already gotten off to an amazing start.  However, just an FYI if anyone reading this hasn’t figured it out yet, the mosquitoes are horrible…. I mean bad, bad.  Bug spray did help but they were still swarming us.  It was ridiculous.  And yep, this is the same complaint I had from the first class of 2011 senior girl below this post.  LOL  As you can see, I hate mosquitoes.    Okay, so, enough about the bugs…. Mr. A did an awesome job and he has the best eyes ever.  It was such a gorgeous evening for the session and with all the rain we have been having lately, mom was really worried that we might end up with a rain out.  But, nope, it was gorgeous.  We started the session with a couple of family shots and then Mr. A and I were on our way.  I have known him and his family for years.  Mr. A was actually just a baby when I met him for the first time.  My daughter is 6 years younger than him, and not to embarrass the kids but she had the hugest crush on him when she was little.  Awhhhhh!  LOL  Anyway, Mr. A, I can’t beleive your going to be a senior and graduating next year.  Wow how time flies.  Congratulations to you and I hope you have the best year of your life!  Anyway, here is a little sneak peek for you.  Also, while you are visiting my blog, feel free to click on the “add a comment” link below this post to leave me a comment.  I’d love to know what you think so far.  Thank-you, Kimberly

First Class of 2011 Senior of the Year!
{Southeastern Wisconsin High School Senior Photographer}

What an AWESOME way to kick off the start to an extremely busy class of 2011 year.  I had such a good time with this lovely young lady yesterday evening.  It was a little to hot and humid for words though and we also could have done without all those nasty mosquitoes.  But, other than that, she did amazing.   We started off in this beautiful garden area in Burlington.  However, both of us forgot our bug spray.  🙁  We tried for a whole maybe 5 minutes but we could not take the mosquitoes.  They were out in full force ready to suck our blood.  Luckily for us and Ms. N’s quick thinking we saw a gardener when we pulled in and like Ms. N said “she doesn’t look like she’s getting attacked.”  LOL  She we asked her if she had any bug spray and yippee, she did.  So, off we went again and it was soooo much better….. still hot and humid, but the mosquitoes were now kept at bay.  🙂  So then we headed off to another location where Ms. N braved it and got in the water to cool off.  🙂  Again, Ms, N, I had an awesome time with you and really hope you enjoyed the experience as well.  Anyway, I know you are anxious to see your sneak peek, so wait no more because here it is.  🙂  While you are visiting my blog, feel free to click on the “add a comment” link below this post and leave me a comment.  I’d love to know what you think so far.  Thank-you, Kimberly

Kimberly Ann Photography is looking for 2 positive, outgoing, and energetic high school juniors girls who will be graduating from high school in the Southeastern WI area in 2011. Preferably within a 25 mile radius from zip code 53120/East Troy.  Kimberly Ann has some new and exciting things for the Class of 2011 and is really excited to share them.  🙂 So, if you were already planning on coming to Kimberly Ann or if you were undecided, now is your chance to have your senior portrait session for FREE.  The process is very selective as we only need 2 models.

What is a senior model? Senior models are representatives from local high schools that are chosen to promote our studio’s senior photography services and also to help us try out new locations, props, lighting etc…..

What do senior models do? Selected models promote our studio by spreading the word about our services to fellow other classmates. This is done by word of mouth; showing your portraits to your classmates; distributing flyers and any other creative ways you can think of.

What do I get for my efforts? The classmates you send to our studio for a portrait session are logged giving you credit for sending them. At the end of the season totals are tallied. You will earn a complimentary set of wallets per senior session that was credited to your name, referal cards with your photo on them, 10 free facebook images and a free 1 – 2 hour photo session.

What type of person are we looking for? Seniors with outgoing personalities who aren’t afraid to make contact with your classmates are ideal candidates.

How do I apply? First, become a fan of Kimberly Ann Photography on Facebook if you are not already, make sure you visit my website at www.kimberlyannphotography.com so you can see samples of Kimberly Ann’s work and pricing, make sure your parents or gaurdians are aware that you are applying and lastly, fill out our model application. First of all, I want to say thank-you and congratulations to everyone from the Class of 2010. The year is almost over and graduation is right around the corner. I want to wish each of you good luck on whatever life brings to you.. I’m sure you will all do great.

Also, don’t forget about graduation announcements.  Time is running out with a design deadline of June 15th, 2010.  So I encourage you, if you would like personalized announcement/invitations, to contact me soon.

So, now, on to a contest…… it’s a battle of the referral. We did this last year with great success so I wanted to offer it up again. I will be giving away a $300 visa gift card to the class of 2010 senior who has used my portrait services and who refers the most class of 2011 seniors my way and a $100 visa gift card for second place.

The rules….

1. I need at least 3 or more referrals from you to consider it a win.
2. The referred class of 2011 senior MUST schedule a session by the contest deadline of Sept. 1, 2010 for you to receive a tally for that senior. Just calling and inquiring does not count.
3. The class of 2011 senior MUST mention YOUR name when they schedule the session. I can not and will not track it all down for you.
4. Contest ends September 1st with all referrals being in and scheduled and the winners will be announced on my blog on September 10th.
Note: In case of a first place tie, first and second place prize will be totaled together ($400) and will be split between the 2 winners ($200 each).  In case of a 2nd place tie, two $100 visa gift cards will be awarded.

NOW I can say that “the Class of 2010 went Out With a Bang!”  🙂 I have actually said that a couple times this past fall but then I received one last call for this class.  It was an awesome season and I had a ton of fun…. now it’s time for the Class of 2011… Bring it on!  🙂  This good lookin’ young man was a lot of fun and very easy to photograph…. very photogenic.  It was a gorgeous day but that wind.  WOW!  A few times I felt like we were going to get blown away.  Yes, it WAS that strong especially when we were standing on the pier.  LOL  Other than the wind though, this session was perfect. It was a pleasure working with you Mr. C and I look forward to seeing you again when we go over all your session images.  🙂 Anyway,  I know you and and your mom are probably anxious to see the photos so, here is a little sneak peek for you to hold ya over until the rest of them are ready.  Also, while you are visiting my blog, feel free to click on the “add a comment” link below this post and leave me a comment.  I’d love to know what you think so far.  Thank-you, Kimberly

This beautiful young lady agreed to be my model for some “test” shots.  Trying out some new lighting equipment and scouting out some new locations.  We had a blast and we were out for almost 2 and a half hours before we knew it.  It is true, time does fly when you’re having fun.  🙂  Anyway, thank-you so much Ms. P for being my muse and putting up with all my “wait”… “no wait”… “okay, almost done”…. “wait”… “stay put”….. well, I think you get the drift.  LOL   I am almost finished picking out my favorites and getting them ready for you but, wanted to share a few of them here on my blog for you while you waited.  While you are visiting my blog, feel free to click on the “add a comment” link below this post and leave a comment.  I’d love to know what you think.  Thank-you, Kimberly
