Another gorgeous day for a photo session. I am just loving this September weather. It is such a relief from the hot and humid weather we had the whole month of August and most of July. It was a bit warmer than it has been but it was still gorgeous out… however, we did have to swat a few mosquitoes again but it was nothing at all like it has been… so I will not complain. 🙂 Anyway, this was a fun session for me. I know, I know, they are all fun for me… but, this one was fun for a different reason. According to mom and Mr. N, he doesn’t like getting his picture taken and wouldn’t smile for me. First off, smiles are overrated. LOL I am a huge, huge fan of the serious look. Especially with senior boys. I mean really, who smiles all the time anyway? Hahaha…. the other reason this was a fun session for me is because I thought I was going into this session on a Sunday evening with a challenge. Not a challenge at all. He’s a great guy and did an awesome job and I think once mom sees this sneak peek… I am betting tears. 🙂 We did this session on their family owed and operated business property. It is a very pretty location. But, of course, leave it to me to find the junk yard part of the property first. LOL I love me some junk. 🙂 Then Mr. N, spent yesterday afternoon mowing the property and what do I do? Place him in the long uncut grass….. hahahaha…. 🙂 So, mom, seeing you weren’t there to see what we were up to, I know you are anxious to see how they turned out. So, here is a little sneak peek for you. I had a great time with you Mr. N and I hope you found this process painless like I told you it would be. 🙂 So, while you are visiting my blog, feel free to click on the “add a comment” link below this post to leave me a comment. Another gorgeous evening for a photo session…. especially on the lake. Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous. A mild wind, cool, but not to cold, temperature and beautiful sunshine. This young man loves to sail so how appropriate that the majority of the session took place at the lake on their pier, in his sail boat and we even took a ride out on the lake on his pontoon boat. That was really cool, different and fun. Anyway Mr. D, I had an awesome time working with you and I hope you had a good time as well. I’m a little behind with my blogging and my sneak peeks so wanted to be able to get this up for you as soon as possible. Beautiful Girl – Class of 2011 Senior!!

And yet another beautiful senior girl, a gorgeous day at one of my favorite locations. We couldn’t have asked for anything better… although, when we met up at our location, the first thing she said to me was “I am so nervous”. LOL Very typical but also very typical, is that the nervousness went away VERY quickly. Right Ms. B? 🙂 Not only do I want to give my clients the best photos they have ever seen, I want, no, I NEED to help them relax and feel very comfortable with me. As I always say, “relax and just have fun”… and that is what Ms. B here did and you can so see it in the images. 🙂 I had an awesome time with you Ms. B and I hope you had a really good time too. 🙂 Here’s a little sneak peek from our session together and I would love to know what you think so far. So, feel free to click on the “add a comment” link below this post to leave me a comment. 🙂 Thank-you, Kimberly
Toto, Where are you? – Class of 2011 Senior!!
{Southeastern Wisconsin High School Senior Photographer}
S0, you’ve heard me talking a lot about the hot and humid weather this summer and complain about the mosquitoes. Well, this session was not hot or humid and nope, no mosquitoes either. Actually, I don’t think the mosquitoes had a chance in the weather we dealt with yesterday. 50+ mile an hour winds and a bit on the chilly side. I couldn’t believe how windy it was, it was crazy. I was more worried about getting hit in the head from flying debris then I was about getting bit up by mosquitoes this time. LOL But, the sun was out and besides the whipping winds, it was actually a beautiful day so we went ahead with the session to give it a try. And, I have to say, I think we rocked it. 🙂 We found a couple of different areas where we could bucker down between some buildings to try to block us from the wind and I do have to say that I think it worked. 🙂 Although the phrase of the day was “ok, go ahead and fix your hair.” LOL I really do love the wind blown look but not the “it” look from the Adams Family. Haha! However, Ms. D here looked beautiful regardless and has the most intense and gorgeous eyes. 🙂 Anyway, Ms. D, I know you are anxious for your sneak peek so here it is. Beautiful Smile – Senior Girl – Class of 2011 Senior!!

I am so happy that I learned my lesson years ago and I do not freak out any more and call my clients first thing in the morning to reschedule their session because “gasp” it’s raining. LOL I have learned that watching the 6 or 7 day weather outlook does nothing but aggravate my stress level because as you know, wait until tomorrow and the outlook will change. Or, better yet, if you don’t like what they are saying, just simply, change to a different channel. The outlook might look better. Hahaha! So, yesterday, it rained for a good portion of the day. Mom did contact me a couple of times wondering if we were even going to get the session in or have to re-schedule. I just kept on saying “just wait”. 🙂 So, that is what we did. 🙂 It is a little more difficult now with school being in session so we can’t move around the appointment to much if need be… but, later in the afternoon yesterday, the sun came out. We did decide to get out there early as soon as Ms. A got home from school “just in case” and I am so happy we did. It was gorgeous. Appsolutely perfect. Then shortly after we completed the session, the clouds rolled back in and it started to rain. Hahah…. we beat you Mother Nature. 🙂 Anyway, this location that Ms. A choose not only has been a very, very popular location that the kids are choosing this year, but this is the same location that I did Ms. A’s sisters senior session a couple of years back. 🙂 I had a wonderful time then and a wonderful time now. 🙂 This young lady has such a beautiful smile and such a beautiful personality. She was such a joy to photograph and I had a really great time with her. So, Ms. A, on to your sneak peek. Very Cute and Fun Senior Girl – Class of 2011 Senior!!
{Waukesha Wisconsin High School Senior Photographer}
I have been looking forward to this young ladies senior session since I met her a couple weeks ago at our pre-consultation appointment. So cute and fun… but, not only that, she’s a swimmer and wanted some shots at her schools pool. I have only done one swimmer at the pool before and that was a few years ago already and a senior boy. I had a ton of fun being creative at the pool then so I knew I would have fun again. And, I was right, it was fun. 🙂 In fact, the whole session was fun and the weather was gorgeous. A little hot, but what else is new. LOL At least we didn’t have any mosquitoes to deal with. 🙂 Anyway, Ms. P, I had an absolute blast with you. I hope you enjoyed yourself as well. 🙂 So, now, on to the sneak peek. While you are visiting my blog, feel free to click on the “add a comment” link below this post to leave me a comment. Football Star Senior Boy – Class of 2011 Senior!!
{Mukwonago Wisconsin High School Senior Photographer}
Another very early morning senior session. We started this one at 6:45 in the morning and it was gorgeous out. It’s not typical for me to do a photo session this early in the morning but I have had a few of them in the last couple of weeks. Sometimes things happen and it’s what we gotta do to get the session in. 🙂 And that does include getting up with the roosters and heading out. LOL Even though it is not always easy getting up and out so early in the morning, I still love the lighting we get this early. It’s absolutely beautiful. Anyway, this was another “a little bit of this and a little bit of that” session. Mr. D here opted for one of my more popular locations this year which includes a ton of variety. I think that is why it is so popular. Not to mention a major tourist attraction. At least going so early in the morning we get to avoid the crowd which I have been known to call a “zoo”. LOL It gets crazy, crazy busy at this location in the summer. So, anyway, Mr. D, it was great working with you yesterday morning and I hope you won your game last night. 🙂 Here is a little sneaky peek of our session together. Enjoy while you are waiting on the rest of your images. Gorgeous Green Eyed Girl – Class of 2011 Senior!!
{Southeastern Wisconsin High School Senior Photographer}
And yet another wonderful and fun session. This young lady is such a sweetheart and such a beautiful girl. I had an awesome time with her and her mom. This past winter, I photographed the whole family in an outdoor snow session with their snowmobiles and their beloved dog Sully… the session turned out awesome. I Love snow sessions. 🙂 And now, I got the opportunity to photograph Ms. C’s senior portraits. The baby in the family and the only daughter… so, she got the royal treatment. 🙂 LOL It has been such a gorgeous week with very low humidity. What a change of pace from what we have been getting this summer. Anyway, the humidity level is starting to rise once again and it was pretty warm. But, not like it has been. So, even though we were very warm during our session, she really did luck out to get such a beautiful evening. 🙂 Anyway, Ms. C, it was wonderful working with you again and I hope you had a good time as well. Congratulations on making it to your senior year and I hope you have the best year ever. So, here is a little sneak peek that I promised you. Enjoy!
