Mom and Her Boys!
{Mukwonago Wisconsin Family Photographer}

What a brisk morning it was but it was also a beautiful morning.  I photographed this family last fall and lets just say, it wasn’t the most gorgeous day in the world and we ended up getting wet…. really wet.  🙁  So, this year, our scheduled session was supposed to be Thursday evening.  However, it was gloomy.  There was no rain in the forecast but it was really, really gray and although I can still produce some beautiful images in overcast weather, I know mom was really, really hoping for some sun this time.  So, when I called her yesterday, she jumped on the chance to change the appointment to 7:30 Friday morning.  It was cold, like 28deg’s cold.  But, the sun was out and the boys were amazing.  🙂  I am totally loving the sunrise lighting but not many of my clients would agree to meet me that early in the morning.  LOL  It was wonderful seeing the 3 of you again.  And, mom, to answer your question “do you think they turned out?”…. Answer:  “yes, I do!”  🙂  See your blog sneak peek for the evidence.  🙂  While you are visiting my blog, feel free to click on the “add a comment” link below this post to leave me a comment.  I would love to know what you think so far.  Thank-you, Kimberly

Wonderful Family of 4!
{Muskego Wisconsin Family Photographer}

All the way from Oregon, meet the “F” family.  When mom called, she knew exactly what she wanted and that was a beautiful fall photo session.  A beautiful day, well behaved kids (and husband LOL Just Kidding Dad), and gorgeous fall colors.  Well, she got it all…. not just 2 out of 3 but 3 out of 3.  🙂  We couldn’t have asked for anything better.  This family rocked!  The kids soooo reminded me of my own 2 kiddos.  One girl and one boy, the oldest being the daughter and the same seperation in ages as my two as well.  I had to laugh because anytime I wanted the 2 of them together and to get closer or Heaven forbid, touch each other LOL… Mr. N, would make a funny face and say “ewhhhh” and back away as Ms. E was getting closer.  hahaha!  However, with my 2, it’s my daughter that says “ewhhhh” and backs away.  LOL  Too funny and too cute.  Anyway, “F” family, it was wonderful meeting you and I had a great time working with you.  Now, on to your sneak peek…. while you are visiting my blog, please feel free to click on the “add a comment” link below this post to leave me a comment.  I would love to know what you think so far.  Thank-you, Kimberly

Family!

This was such a fun family and one I am happy we finally go in due to 2 re-schedules because of icky weather.  I photographed this families one year old this past winter when he was 6 months old and he was such a good, good baby.  And, even today at one, he is still the cutest, quietest little pumpkin.  His big brother is just as adorable and also the newest little one moth old addition.  So, so, so cute.  This familiy was so much fun and awesome to work with at their lake front home.  Gorgeous location and gorgeous family.  Anyway, I also wanted to give a shout out to my sister… AKA my extended family session (or large group) assistant :), for coming along to help me out.  So, here is the sneak peek you all have been waiting for.  I had a great time working with all of you. 🙂 While you are here visiting my blog, feel free to click on the “add a comment” link below this post to leave me a comment.  I would love to know what you think so far.  Thank-you, Kimberly

I love the closeness of the family and the surreal look on dad in this image.

Mom wanted to see if Mr. T could look directly into the sun like she could. And, look at that, even with his blue eyes, he did it and looks so cute.

And I wanted to share an image just of mom.  Isn’t she beautiful?  🙂

Beautiful Family of 4!

We were a little bit worried about the weather for this session yesterday.  Well, I should say, Mom was a little worried about the weather.  Me, not so much.  I am very optimistic, sometimes a little too optomistic but no matter what, it always works out in the end.  🙂  For the last last few days before our session yesterday evening, they were calling for cloudy skies with a chance of showers.  Well, I’m not sure where that weather forecast came from because it was gorgeous out all day yesterday.  Nothing but bright sun with an occasional white puff cloud in the sky.  🙂 Love it.  We did the photo session at their home which worked out perfectly.  We had a smiley 9 month old baby boy and a typical rambunctious and oh so cute three year old little girl.  Love these ages.  The three year olds always give me a run for my money but I love the goofy nature of them and the genuine smiles and laughter you can get from them.  Exhibit A, image #1… she was eating grass and thought it was a hoot.  LOL  Anyway Mom and Dad, it was great meeting both of you and your beautiful children.  I look forward to seeing you again soon.  While you are visiting my blog and enjoying your sneak peek, feel free to click on the “add a comment” link below this post to leave me a comment.  I would love to know what you think so far.   Thank-you, Kimberly

Fun, Fun Family of 4!!
{Mukwonago Wisconsin Family Photographer}

I was very excited for this session yesterday.  I had actually been talking to mom since I believe last March about a session for a friend of hers.  She had mentioned that she was wanting a family session sometime soon as well.  So, now that time has finally come and I had a wonderful, wonderful time with them.  Mom and I both had lots of the same ideas.  It was so funny, she would say something or throw out an idea and I could finish her sentence because I was just thinking the same thing or visa versa.  It was awesome.  LOL  The girls were wonderful too.  Despite, once again, the darn mosquitoes.  Those darn bugs are becoming a theme for my blog because I am talking about them so much but OMG…. they are horrible.  But, some how, the girls managed to keep on smiling and looking as cute as ever.  🙂  Anyway, “A” family, I had a really great time photographing your family and hope you enjoy your sneak peek.  While you are visiting my blog, feel free to click on the “add a comment” link below this post to leave me a comment.  I would love to know what you think so far.  Thank-you, Kimberly

Awesome and Fun Family!
{Menomonee Falls Wisconsin Family Photographer}

What another beautiful day for a photo session.  Again, we were a little worried because we both heard rain on and off ALL day long and it was raining and very gloomy in the morning.  But, when the sun came out, it never went away.  So once again, we lucked out.  Anyway, I had a ton of fun with this family.  They laughed a lot and new how to work it for the camera.  When mom called, she told me that she loves artistic and fun.  Not a lot of stiffy type posing and that is why she picked me.  I was honored to be their chosen photographer.  Anyway, “M” family, it was great meeting you all and I had a blast working with you.  Here is a little sneak peek for you while you are waiting on the rest of your images.  Also, while you are visiting my blog, feel free to click on the “add a comment” link below this post and leave me a comment.  I’d love to know what you think so far.  Thank-you, Kimberly

Fun, Fun Family!
{Southeastern Wisconsin Family Photographer}

I am so happy we finally got this session in.  We started scheduling this session back in March/April.  However, with extended family sessions, it’s hard to get every-one’s schedule in sync and with one rain/snow day in the mix, we finally got it in.  I wasn’t sure if it would even work out this time due to fog and gloom, but we got it in.  We had a little mist during the session but that was not enough to scare us away.  It turned out to be an awesome session and at least I wasn’t fighting the sun.  🙂  I have photographed these families individually several times but never all together. In fact, individually, they have been keeping me very busy.  🙂  I was also so happy to see Grandma and Grandpa there for a few fun photos with their 3 daughters and all their beautiful Grand kids.  That was an awesome surprise seeing 1) Grandma comes to almost every session I have had with her daughters families but is never in any of the photos and 2) this was originally supposed to be a Mothers Day Gift for her but unfortunately, like I said above, we had to reschedule a few times.  So, it was great to see them involved in the photos this time around.  So, “G” family, here is a little sneak peek for you which I know you are anxiously awaiting.  We did so many unique and fun groupings and individuals I wish I could show you more now.  However, if I did that, it wouldn’t be a sneak peek.  LOL  So, I just had to choose a few for you for the time being.  You all are awesome and it was great to see you all again.  So, while you are visiting my blog, feel free to click on the “add a comment” link below this post and leave me a comment.  I’d love to hear what you think so far.  Thank-you, Kimberly

My Beautiful Sister and Her Boys!
{Elkhorn Wisconsin Family Photographer}

This is my beautiful sister and her handsome boys.  It’s been a really long time since I’ve done family photos of them and she figured (as did I), it was time for an update.  🙂 I’m so happy we had the opportunity to do this and that the weather held out for us because re-scheduling would have been a beast.  As you can imagine, a 20 year old and a 16 year old would rather be ANY place else other than having their pictures taken… especially BOYS!  LOL  But, they were troopers and I know mom thanks you and so do I.  Love you all, Kimberly
