Sisters, Family… Fun!!!
{Southeastern WI / Northern ILL Family Photographer}

This family was a blast to work with.  They were vacationing at the Lake Lawn Lodge while on their Spring break and wanted photos just of the girls…. however, I was excited to find out when I got there that mom and dad decided they wanted to be in the photos too.

I was thankful for a very mild sunny day the day of our session.  Especially for the end of March in WI, you never know what you are going to get.

Anyway, we had a really good time and we also had some interesting events during the session…. without going into details we’ll just say someone getting a tad wet when “her” leg went through the icy lake was interesting and the fire alarms were interesting as well.  Hahaha….

disclaimer #1: nobody was hurt during this photo session

disclaimer #2: I had nothing to do with the icy lake.  LOL  Just so nobody thinks I ever put my clients in danger.  🙂

It was really nice meeting you “H” Family.  I hope you had a wonderful vacation together.

Thank-you, Kimberly

Family in the Snow!!!
{Mukwonago Wisconsin Family Photographer}

What a gorgeous day for the fun family snow session.  We had actually scheduled this session over a month ago and I always find it risky pre-booking a “snow” session this time of year.  You just never, ever know what the weather will be like in Wisconsin this time of year.  It could be raining and 70deg, it could be windy and freezing at -10deg with NO snow on the ground at all.  You just never know.  Well, boy oh boy was this family lucky.  We had a large snow fall of 8-9 inches 2 days prior and the snow was still so gorgeous the day of our session and still sticking to the tops of all the trees.  Plus, it was in the mid 30’s.  Woohoo…. gorgeous.  🙂  And, not only that, this family was awesome and I was very honored having the pleasure of meeting and photographing them.  🙂

Anyway “R” family, it was wonderful meeting you and I had a great time with you.  Here is a little sneak peek of your session for you.

Meet Beautiful Ms. A…Class of 2013!!!
{Milwaukee Wisconsin High School Senior Photographer}

Another Beautiful Class of 2013 senior and another awesome session….. and the weather… WOW.  Being the middle of November in Wisconsin, you just never do know what you are going to get.  The week prior to our session it was very windy and in the low 30’s and then for our session, sunny with no wind and in the high 50’s.  It was perfect.

We started out with a few family pictures with Ms. A, her mom and her 3 younger brothers and then we moved on to the senior portion of the session.  Ms. A rocked it.  She looked beautiful and did an amazing job.  🙂

I really enjoyed working with you and your family “A”.  I hope you had a good time and I will be talking with you soon.

Winter Wonderland Sessions…. Sign Up Starts NOW!!!
{Southeastern Wisconsin Portrait Photographer}

Get on the waiting list for our Winter Wonderland Sessions NOW!!!

Ohhhhh how I love photographing families, children and high school senior sessions out in the snow.  Beautiful sheets of fluffy white snow, kids on sleds, families having a snowball fight or building a snowman, teenagers hitting the slopes, snowmobiles… just to name a few. It is beautiful and fun and the kids, big or small, love it.

Kimberly Ann Photography has been doing these types of sessions for the last few years and it has generated a lot of interest and we have already been getting questioned if we were going to do this again.  And the answer: Absolutely YES!

I am the first to admit that I hate the cold weather that is fast approaching.  However, within the cold lies some forgiveness, because I love the beauty of the winter white scenic snow, and what could be more fun than having a photo session outside in your winter best outerwear, with the ones you love?

So, if a “Winter Wonderland Session” interests you and you would like to be put on our waiting list, email us at info@kimberlyannphotography.com with “Winter Wonderland Session” in the subject line.  Leave your name, phone number, your location, what type of session (family, high school senior, children) and we will put you on the our wait list.  These sessions are on a first come, first serve basis when the snow starts to fly. Snow and temperatures are a factor in these sessions that’s why it’s important to get on the wait list now.  It is Wisconsin after all… you just never know.  🙂

We look forward to working with you. ~Kimberly and Mary Ann

Baby’s First Year Graduate!!!
{Brookfield Wisconsin Child Photographer}

So, you may have all noticed (or maybe not LOL) that our recent blog posts lately have been missing a little something.  All of our latest posts have been sneak peek pictures only, no text.  Our clients have been keeping us really, really busy lately and to not miss out on the sneak peeking, to save time, we have been posting just the images without our typical rambling on about the session.  But, man, do I love to ramble on about the sessions. LOL  🙂

So, as we are still trucking along and still keeping really busy, we can not guarantee text on all the posts, but we will try.  And hey, I may be fooling myself and thinking you all missed it as well.  LOL

Anyway, so now I get to talk about this little guy, Mr. R.  Last year we started a Baby’s First Year Package and Mr. R is our very first graduate. We did the maternity session, newborn, sitting up (7ish months) and now his one year photo session.  He is not quite one yet, will be in a couple of weeks but boy oh boy is he on the move now.  LOVE it…. it was so, so fun to watch him grow through all of his stages of his first year of life.  What a beautiful and easy going baby boy.  🙂

It was wonderful working with you “F” family and I hope to see you all again soon.

Lovely Family of 3!!!
{Oconomowoc WI Child/Family Photographer}

I love when clients come back year after year to update their child/family photos.  I love being able to see them every year and I love being able to see the children grow.  I have been photographing this little one since I believe she was 6 months old.  We did her 6 month, 1 year, 2 year and now, she is 3 years old and ohhhhh so cute… and of course, I just love seeing mom and dad every year as well.  I always have such a great time with them and adore photographing their family.

So, as you can tell “H” family, it was so nice to see you again and I can not wait to see you next year again.  🙂
