One Year Old Golfer!
{Waukesha Wisconsin Child Photographer}

OMG…. is he not the cutest?  I have photographed this little mister several times now and every time I see him, he just keeps getting cuter and cuter and smilier.  He is the happiest little dude ever.  Mom is planning a golf theme birthday party for him and she and her husband also got married at this golf course. So how fitting was it to do Mr. G’s one year photo session here? You know, I think I am just going to shut up right now and let the sneak peek images speak for themselves.  🙂  Thank-you again so much mom and Mr. G.  It was wonderful seeing you both again, Kimberly

Happy Birthday Mr. M!
{Southeastern Wisconsin Child Photographer}

Another cute, cute, cute one year old session.  Mom scheduled this session a few months back so I know she has been really looking forward to it.  Little M here turned one just a couple of days ago.  He was so good and so intrigued with his surroundings.  It was a little hard to get a smile out of him but when we did get that smile, oh my, how cute.  Look out mom and dad, with that beautiful smile and those gorgeous blue eyes, you just might be in trouble when he gets older.  🙂  Anyway, it was wonderful to finally meet you and I look forward to seeing you again.  And, a BIG happy birthday to Mr. M.  What a milestone.  🙂  So, here is a little sneak peek for you while you are waiting on the rest of your images.  Also, feel free to click on the “add a comment” link below this post while you are visiting my blog to leave me a comment.  I would love to know what you think so far.  Thank-you, Kimberly

Happy, Busy Brothers!
{Southeastern Wisconsin Child Photographer}

I love my job.  It’s fun, fun, fun.  But, it’s not as easy as many of you think it is or as I have been told on murmurous occasions “you make this look so easy”.  LOL  Not only does it take talent and lots of training which never ends, it takes knowledge of your camera inside and out.  So many people think it’s all in the camera, but I can tell you from experience, that it’s not the camera.  The camera only does what I tell it to do.  🙂  So, this is not going to be your ordinary blog post.  I’ve decided to show a little behind the scenes from this session.  Some good and some not so good.  But, as I was scrolling through this session on my camera when I got home, I couldn’t help but laugh.  These two boys were sooooo cute and fun but they were also very busy and goofy.  And, this IS typical for young kids.  Not just boys, girls too.  And, I often get parents who wonder if I got “anything good”.  LOL  Then they see the images and are surprised and very happy.  🙂  All I can do is try to build their confidence during the session… “trust me.  I know what I am doing”.  Hahaha! I would ask these two cuties to come over here so I can take your picture.  You know, tying to get them into “my” lighting.  I would get a couple of shots and then I would hear “now, you come over here and get my picture doing a backflip”.  LOL  They were a hoot and I had a lot of fun getting to know them.  So, follow along as I show you some images from our session together.

Awhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!

And…. the very next shot…. HAHAHA!!!!!!

And, back to Awhhhhhhh!!!!  🙂

And now… the not so cute.  🙁  If you have been following my blog at all, you know that I have been doing a lot of complaining about the mosquitoes this summer.  Not only are they a nuscents during the session, but a huge pain after the session as well.  Please see Exhibit A below.  You will notice the culprit on the poor little guys nose and the welts it left behind.  🙁

So, there you have it… the good, the bad, the bugs and the cute, cute, cute and the reason…. I LOVE MY JOB!!!! 🙂  Anyway, “K” family, besides the nasty bug on your poor little dudes nose, I hope you enjoy your little sneak preview.  🙂  While you are visiting my blog, feel free to click on the “add a comment” link below this post to leave me a comment.  I would love to know what you think so far.  Thank-you, Kimberly

Happy Birthday Ms. E!
{Southeastern Wisconsin Child Photographer}

What a happy and cute little girl!  This is my third time photographing her within her first year of life and it has been such a treat to watch her and her personality grow.  And, when I say “within” one year, I mean, “within” on year as I got to photograph her yesterday on her first birthday.  🙂 One year is such a milestone and you look back and wonder how that went by so fast. She is now smiling up a storm, on a verge of starting to talk, crawls and is almost walking.  It goes by soooo fast and before you know it, your baby is having a baby.  🙂  Ms. E here was soooo intrigued with the balloons.  She just loved them… and the cake, well, the jury is still out.  LOL  She played with more of the cake than she actualy ate.  She was just being a dainty little girl.  LOL Anyway, mom, it was sooooo nice seeing you again and I hope you got to enjoy every possible minute of Ms. E’s first year.  It went by so fast but now, it goes even faster.  So, with all that sappy stuff out of the way.  LOL  Enjoy your sneak peek.  🙂  While you are visiting my blog, feel free to click on the “add a comment” link below this post to leave me a comment.  I would love to know what you think so far.  Thank-you, Kimberly

Just decided that I’d like to play a little game and try to get this little birthday girl a birthday present from Kimberly Ann Photography.  If we can get at least 15 blog comments on this blog post  within one week (August 26th), the birthday girl will receive a complimentary 8×10 of her choice… well, mom’s choice.  LOL   Okay?  Ready, Set… Click on “Add a Comment”!!!!  🙂

One Year Old Princess!
{Brookfield Wisconsin Child Photographer}

This little one was all rested up and ready to go.  I got sooo many cute, cute, cute facial expressions from her.  She was just so adorable in her little pink dress and little flower in her hair.  I’ve actually been waiting to meet little miss “I” here for a long time now.  We were scheduled for a session a few months back but because of events that were out of our control, we needed to cancel. So, I may not have been able to do her 6 months portraits, it was an however, a big honor to do her one year portraits.  Anyway mom and dad, I know you are probably very anxious to see the photos. So while you are waiting, I wanted to give you a little sneak peek / teaser from our session today.  Also, I always love knowing what you think so far.  So, while you are visiting my blog, feel free to click on the “add a comment” link below this post to leave me a comment.  Thank-you, Kimberly

One Year Old Sweetie Pie!
{New Glarus Wisconsin Child Photographer}

This past winter I did this little ones 6 month session.  Mom made the trip to me last time and I made the 2 hour(ish) trip this time…. and it was worth every mile just to see her again.  She is soooo tiny, so stinking cute and full of smiles.  Just a very happy baby and I was so excited to see her and her mommy again and finally meet daddy.  I’ll say that I have held sessions in all sorts of pastures including cow and horse pastures.  But, this is a first for me to shoot in a pasture full of Lamas.  LOL  Very cool and was just happy that they stayed away from me and didn’t get to close.  As many of you know, large animals freak me out but that has never stopped me.  I’ll do just about anything to get the shot.  🙂  Like one time in a horse pasture and the nice little horsey decided it was hungry and tried to eat my famous red chair.  Yep, that really did happen.  LOL  Anyway, I just love this little girl and it was amazing seeing her again and she’s walking now.  Oh my!  🙂  She even gave me a little hug and kiss before I left.  Melt my heart.  🙂  So, mom and dad, I know you are anxious to see a little bit of what we captured and are waiting on your sneak peek…. 🙂  While you are visiting my blog feel free to leave me a comment by clicking on the “add a comment” link below this post.  I’d love to know what you think.  Thank-you, Kimberly

Mom thinks little baby “I” got her blue, blue eyes from her Grandpa.  Hmmmmm!  LOL  Just teasing mom.  🙂

Brothers!
{Milwaukee Wisconsin Children’s Photographer}

This was an amazing session and one I couldn’t think of one change I would have made.  The weather was perfect, the lighting was perfect, the location was perfect and more important than anything, the BOYS were perfect.  I honestly went into this session thinking, wow, I’m gonna have my work cut out for me.  I mean let’s face it, a 6 year old, almost 4 and almost 1 year old… and all boys.  WOW!  Well, I couldn’t have been more wrong.  They were awesome.  Look at that first image of the 3 of them together, I have plenty more just like it.  Okay, so, I need to say it one more time… awesome boys.  🙂 Anyway, mom, I know you are dieing to see some images so, while you are waiting, here is a little sneak peek for you.  Also, feel free to click on the “add a comment” link below this post and leave me a comment.  I’d love to know what you think.  Thank-you, Kimberly

Beautiful 7 Month Old Baby Boy!
{Southeastern Wisconsin Child Photographer}

This little guy was supposed to come in for his 6 months photos a few weeks ago.. but, he got sick.  🙁  So, we re-scheduled the session for today.  And what a day it was…. GORGEOUS!!!!!!  So, we went ahead as scheduled and did some studio images of Mr. H but then we headed out to the park for some images including Big sister Ms. O and a couple family images as well.  It was just way to nice out to not take advantage of it… especially since the forecast is calling for several inches of snow this weekend.  Grrrrrr…. I am so done with winter and so ready for Spring.  I just love these gorgeous, warm, Spring days but the teasers are killing me.  🙁  Ooooo, so sorry, “L” family, I just turned this blog post into a “whoa is me” post.  LOL  Okay, back on topic….. Loved this family, loved the kids and loved the weather…. what more could one ask for.  🙂  So, now on to the sneak peek.  Enjoy!  While you are visiting my blog, click on the “add a comment” link below this post and leave me a comment.  I’d love to know what you think so far.  Thank-you, Kimberly
