One Year and a Couple Months Later – One Year Old!

Love this little guy… he is so good and so cute.  I photographed him just over a year ago when he was only about a week old and then again at his brothers high school senior portrait session when he was about 6 months old.  He just keeps getting cuter and cuter.  🙂  I was so happy to have had the opportunity to photograph him again… especially given our gorgeous weather yesterday.  I was so excited to get back outdoors to photograph again after such a long, cold, snowy winter.  I am also thankful at how good he was.  He gave me a lot of time and let me play a lot.  LOL  Gotta love a well behaved one year old that doesn’t mind the camera.  🙂

Anyway mom, thanks so much for bringing him out…. you are so lucky to have such a good little guy.  🙂

Moms – you are always behind the camera capturing sweet moments of your kids. Now it’s your turn to be front and center with a session designed just for you! For Mother’s Day, tell them you want a Mommy & Me portrait session with Kimberly Ann Photography.

You and your child(ren) are only young once, commemorate the unbreakable parent-child bond.

Mother’s Day is May 8th – call 262-492-3893 TODAY to schedule a session.

Here are the details:

~mini-sessions will be booked for 20 minute early evening time slots on May 6th and May 7th.
~there will be 5-10 final images presented in a secure on-line proofing gallery.
~If you have more than 2 children, please let me know so we can schedule you 2 time slots.

Outdoor session location TBA.  If weather does not cooperate the day of the session, sessions will be moved to Kimberly Ann’s in-home studio in East Troy. Mini-sessions will be scheduled on a first come, first served basis and are on a limited base.

Please Help… We Need Your Votes!!!

You may or may not know that Kimberly Ann Photography is a participating photographer for the “America’s Cutest Kid” Contest.  This contest is to raise funds for charity “Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep” (NILMDTS) www.nowilaymedowntosleep.org  which is a non-profit organization whose mission is to provide professional portrait sessions to families suffering an early infant loss at no cost to the family in order to honor their child’s legacy and memory.

All my contestants are now entered into the contest to try and become “Americas Cutest Kid” and along with that, Kimberly Ann Photography is trying to become the top Photographer.  So, now I need YOUR help to achieve this goal.  And YES, I am begging for your help.  LOL

This contest has of 5 regions.  Kimberly Ann Photography is in Region 4.  The top 5 in each region who have the most votes and the top 5 in each region who have the most points move on to the final judging round.  So, 10 in all for each region.  I need your help getting to that final judging round.

Votes= $1 for each vote
Points= each person that registers receives 5 FREE points to put toward the child of their choice.  No money needed.
 
Right now I have 1st and 2nd place over all, out of ALL 5 regions sitting at the top.  And I also have 3rd place in points in region 4.

Voting (which is $1 per vote, or $50 for 50 votes ?…. which is what goes to this charity. So, I encourage you to vote Please). Voting is self explanatory, when you click on the link to the photo below that you would like to vote for just add in your dollar amount and vote.

Points on the other hand is a bit more tricky so I will post the step by step instructions to make it really, really easy for you….

The points will be added automatically.  And you are done.  Except for helping Kimberly Ann spread the word by telling YOUR friends and family to vote and add their free points.

Beautiful Blue Eyed Siblings!!!

These kiddos were so cute and it was so good to finally meet them.  Had a few issues with the flu bug going around and both the kids were sick and then on our re-scheduled date, I believe it was mom that had it so we had to re-schedule again.  However, even though I hate having to re-schedule, I will take a happy, smiley child over a sick and grumpy child anyday.  So, of course, I was happy to do the re-schedules because I got myself some happy, fun loving kiddos.  🙂  Ms. A was a complete poser and you could just tell she loves to be in front of the camera.  And Mr. M, he was just a ham all the way around.  I mean, just look at those big blue eyes.  🙂  There, enough said!  LOL

Bubbles, Bare Feet and Bicycles document that signs of Spring are here!  The great outdoors is the obvious choice for Spring Portraits.  A family picnic in the park, red wagons, a tire swing, an antique doll stroller, a teddy bear tea party with your little princess, and/or you little guy in blue jean suspenders fishing at his favorite pond or playing baseball or golf….  The possibilities and imaginations are endless and I want to bring out those possibilities with lasting memories of portraiture for you.
 
Book a Spring Time session through the months of April, May and June sporting one of the many activities above or another Spring activity that your child(ren) or family loves and receive this “Spring Special Portait Session” at 50% off your session retainer fee.
 
Fine Print: session must take place in the months of April, May or June.  These sessions and months are sure to book up quickly so book your session before all available dates are gone.  The early bird gets the worm and there are no “rain checks”.  🙂  Session fee must be paid within 4 days of scheduling your session to reserve your date and time.  Without it, Kimberly Ann will open up your date to a new client.  If choosing an activity that is not listed above, Kimberly Ann must approve the activity upon booking the “Spring Special Portait Session”. Almost ONE!

You may recognize this little girl.  She is in the header up on top of my blog here, she and her big sister are on the front page of my website and also inside the galleries of my website.  🙂  I photographed her and her sister this past October when she was I believe, 7 months old.  She was a hard one to get to smile but as I always say “smiles in photographs are over rated”. LOL Even with no smiles, I absolutely loved her images.  Her big blue eyes said it all.  🙂  This time for her one year pictures, mom was hoping for some smiles.  Who could blame her?  She wanted to show off all of her babies teeth.  I couldn’t believe it.  At not even one yet, she has a ton of teeth and I think Ms. B wanted to show off her pearly whites as well because this time, she smiled a lot.  🙂  Isn’t she beautiful?  🙂  Anyway mom and Ms. B, it was wonderful seeing you again and I hope you are enjoying your photo gallery.  🙂

Siblings With Spunk…!

First, let me apologize to all my blog subscribers…. I try really hard not to bombard you with several blog posts in one day.  However, I was falling behind in my blogging and needed to play a little game of catch-up.  For you veteran subscribers, you know this many posts in one day and clogging up your email is not typical of me and for you knew subscribers, this is not how it typically is.  🙂  Now, with that said, enjoy the following sneak peek and please don’t remove your subscription. These two kiddos have a ton of personality and spunk and are so much fun.  Not to mention, cute, cute, cute.  Just look at Mr. H’s big blue eyes and Ms. O’s beautiful smile and gorgeous dimples.  🙂  Love!  Anyway, these are two more entries into the “America’s Cutest Kid” contest.   To the “L” family, it was great seeing you again and seeing how much to kids have grow since last year.  🙂 My, are the getting big and all grown up.  Also, thank-you for participating in the contest for charity, “Now I lay me down to sleep” and good luck to you.

Beautiful Girl…!

I photographed this little princess last year outside for a snow session.  Loved it.  She had the cutest little outfit and a teeny tiny violin.  She didn’t give me a whole lot of time because it was cold out but that’s ok because for the little amount of time we did have, I got “the” shot.  🙂  And this time, she hammed it up.  She had her own little moves and her looks.  It was too cute and Grandma, ya, I think she is smitten with her… smiled and laughed the whole time.  LOL   Anyway, Mom, Grandma and Ms. M… it was great seeing you all again and good luck to you in the “America’s Cutest Kid” contest.
