A: No, this was my first one

Q: What was your own personal reason for wanting to have a boudoir session? Was your session a gift for anyone special, or just for yourself?

A: This was just for myself.  I had recently lost a lot of weight and hadn’t done a photo shoot in a while and thought this would be fun.

Q: Why did you choose Kimberly Ann Photography for your boudoir experience?

A: She was very close to where I live and her pricing was reasonable.

Q: How did your session with Kimberly Ann Photography differ from what you were expecting before entering our studio?

A: I had no expectations. My experience was really fun.

Q: What was your favorite part of the boudoir experience?

A: The overall experience was great.  We had a lot of fun in picking different outfits for the shoot.  

Q: Other than beautiful photos, of course, what else did you take away from your boudoir experience? What type of impact did it have on you?

A: I’d like to do another shoot and get really artsy…silhouettes, nudes but tastefully done.

Q: Have you ever done a boudoir shoot before? If yes, how did your shoot with Kimberly compare to your prior experience?

A: I have never done a boudoir shoot before. Always thought about it but never pursued it.

Q: What was your own personal reason for wanting to have a boudoir session? Was your session a gift for anyone special, or just for yourself? 

A: I have always thought about doing a boudoir session and wanted to do this for myself.

Q: Why did you choose Kimberly Ann Photography for your boudoir experience? 

A: A friend of mine mentioned to me about Kim. I started following Kimberly Ann Photography on Facebook. Just the process and how easy Kim made it look, I told myself I am doing this and took the plunge.

Q: How did your session with Kimberly Ann Photography differ from what you were expecting before entering our studio? 

A: I feel I was pretty prepared going in. I was following the Facebook page for awhile, watching Kim’s Facebook live sessions etc. When I booked the session, Kim sent a detailed guide of expectations, what to bring etc. And if you had any additional questions Kim was there to answer them. Also before entering the studio you are greeted to a welcoming and outgoing female team which puts you at ease right away.

Q: What was your favorite part of the boudoir experience? 

A: I am very low maintenance when it comes to hair and makeup, so getting that done I loved it! But I think my overall favorite part was putting on sexy lingerie and Kim posing you in beautiful and hot poses!

Q: Other than beautiful photos, of course, what else did you take away from your boudoir experience? What type of impact did it have on you? 

A: It doesn’t matter, age, shape or size, the way Kim shot and posed me during the shoot. I felt beautiful and empowered. After that session I felt like you know what, I am beautiful inside and out. I don’t know what she did but she’s AMAZING!!!

Q: Have you ever done a boudoir shoot before? If yes, how did your shoot with Kimberly compare to your prior experience?

A: No, only professional pictures ever taken were my senior high school pictures. Over 15 years ago!

Q: What was your own personal reason for wanting to have a boudoir session? Was your session a gift for anyone special, or just for yourself?

A: My husband was going to be away for military training, which he does often. And I wanted him to have a keepsake of what’s waiting for him at home. I’m very plain, quiet and shy so I really wanted an amazing surprise for him.

Q: Why did you choose Kimberly Ann Photography for your boudoir experience?

A: It must have been through facebook. And since facebook seems to know everything you look at, several other advertisements started popping up. Kimberly Ann s looked way more intense, fun and better backgrounds. Plus it was further away and I didnt want to go close to home.  Wanted to be more discrete and not recognized.

Q: How did your session with Kimberly Ann Photography differ from what you were expecting before entering our studio?

A: Like most, I was super nervous. I was feeling out of place and no idea what I got myself into. But right away, I loved the one on one attention and loved her advice on how to pose. I felt beautiful and like a model.

Q: What was your favorite part of the boudoir experience?

A: Feeling amazingly gorgeous and a boost in my self esteem. I left there proving to myself,  that I could go out my comfort zone and show myself, and my husband that I do have a rocking body! Even though he tells me I’m beautiful all the time, I really felt it for myself.

Q: Other than beautiful photos, of course, what else did you take away from your boudoir experience? What type of impact did it have on you?

A: Confidence and higher self esteem of my body image. Now when he tells me I’m beautiful, I’m like, see! I have proof lol.
I really wish I could do this over again. Being more relaxed. I think I was to tense and worried I wasn’t posing just right.
I plan on saving up and to do another with Kim.

A: My session with Kim was my first boudoir experience.

Q: What was your own personal reason for wanting to have a boudoir session? Was your session a gift for anyone special, or just for yourself?

A: I had thought about doing a boudoir session for years, just never had the courage.  Like many women, I had body insecurities that held me back from booking a session.  After years of working on myself physically and mentally, I finally booked a session on a whim.  I booked the session for myself and as a gift for my husband.  Thought it would give me a confidence boost I needed and I knew my husband would appreciate them as well.

Q: Why did you choose Kimberly Ann Photography for your boudoir experience?

A: I had come across KAP on Facebook and joined her VIP group.  I browsed her gallery and loved the work and photos.  Although I had looked at other photographers closer to my area I preferred her work over all others I had seen, so I didn’t mind the drive.

Q: How did your session with Kimberly Ann Photography differ from what you were expecting before entering our studio?

A: I honestly didn’t know what to expect.  I was nervous but it didn’t take too long for that nervousness to go away.  Kim is very good at making you feel comfortable and helps you every step of the way to make sure you have a great experience.

Q: What was your favorite part of the boudoir experience?

A: I came into my session with low confidence and body insecurities.  I was unsure about some of the outfits I had taken with me but Kim asked me to trust her.  At my photo reveal I couldn’t believe how well the photos had turned out.  Those body insecurities that I had been worried about were nowhere to be seen.  It was a huge confidence boost to see how I looked in those photos and I’m no longer insecure about the “problem areas” I thought my body had.

Q: Was your experience what you were expecting? If not, how was it different?  

A: It was so much more than I expected and Kim was so passionate and excited to get some amazing shots.

Q: What was the best part of your experience? Would you change anything?

A: The best part of my experience was Kim’s enthusiasm and excitement during the entire shoot.  You can tell she loves her job and loves making the women she shoots feel amazing in their own skin.

A: Definitely not! This was my first experience.

A: Honestly, a Facebook ad popped up and I challenged myself to follow through. My intention was keep it a secret from my husband until I had photos to give him, but I suck at secrets so he helped me shop! 🙈

A: I’m a big fan of the all female staff. She seemed very concerned about her ladies comfort and that, obviously, is so important. 

Q: How did your session with Kimberly Ann Photography differ from what you were expecting before entering our studio?

A: I had no idea what to expect!! I was so nervous at first, but by the end I was having fun. This was a neat experience. 

Q: What was your favorite part of the boudoir experience?

A: Watching my husband’s face look at the photos for the first time. And the second, third. Ha!

Q: Other than beautiful photos, of course, what else did you take away from your boudoir experience? What type of impact did it have on you?

A: Beauty has so many meanings. Physical beauty is so different from one person to the next. This experience absolutely helped me embrace my image and realize that I am gorgeous! (when someone else does my hair and makeup 😉)

A: I wanted to do one for myself.  Something I was always interested in doing but was too shy to do it.  I loved the pictures and used them as a wedding gift for my husband!

A: I chose Kimberly Ann Photography because I know her and after being in the VIP group for a few weeks I knew I wanted to try with someone who had an outgoing personality and would make me feel comfortable compared to a full on stranger.

Q: How did your session with Kimberly Ann Photography differ from what you were expecting before entering our studio?

A: I was expecting to feel a little nervous and shy, however after the consultation I knew it would be fun.  After reflecting on the shoot it had gone a lot better than I had anticipated and I was not as shy as I thought’d id be.  We had a lot of fun!

Q: What was your favorite part of the boudoir experience?

A: Too many to pick from!  I loved the different outfits and the different poses.  I thought it was exciting that she found a few of my “natural” poses picture worthy and would stop me where I was to get a picture of that.  It was a huge confidence booster too!

Q: Other than beautiful photos, of course, what else did you take away from your boudoir experience? What type of impact did it have on you?

A: I would have to say I came out with more confidence in myself!

KAP Beautiful Boudoir {Wisconsin Boudoir Photographer}

Insecurity comes in all shapes and sizes. It comes from the inside and it comes from the out. Sometimes you can see it, sometimes you can’t. What I want from every session is to show her that she IS beautiful. I don’t just want her to look beautiful, I want her to feel beautiful.

Q: Have you ever done a boudoir shoot before? If yes, how did your shoot with Kimberly compare to your prior experience?

A: Nope! First time for this!

Q: What was your own personal reason for wanting to have a boudoir session? Was your session a gift for anyone special, or just for yourself?

A: A friend did one for her husband’s 40th birthday a few years ago and I thought it was a great idea! I also saw her photos and they were stunning. Very simple at a hotel with great light and shot in B/W. At that time I wasn’t feeling very confident in my body (my friend is in great shape) and put it off until I “looked better”. Well, frankly it never was going to happen with my crappy opinion of myself. My husband never knew about me wanting to do this. He always tells me I’m beautiful and sexy but I didn’t really believe it or see it in myself. #lowselfesteem

Q: Why did you choose Kimberly Ann Photography for your boudoir experience?

A: I met Kim at my Crossfit Gym and heard from most of the other women how great of an experience it was. I also was on her FB page and saw the before/after shots and read the comments from everyone and was sold. Kim is an amazing photographer and very positive about the whole experience.

Q: How did your session with Kimberly Ann Photography differ from what you were expecting before entering our studio?

A: I was so nervous. I had no idea what to expect. I read all the instructions she emailed me and brought a bunch of lingerie outfits and shoes. I wanted to do this as a special gift for my husband so I also grabbed his tuxedo shirt and tie. I think that look is very sexy, to incorporate something of his. Kim did a great job weaving that into a couple sets so I had options for the photos. 

Q: What was your favorite part of the boudoir experience?

A: Feeling pretty. They (the makeup person and Kim) made me feel amazing and very special. We also laughed a ton. Kim is great. You will not regret booking a session with her.

Q: Other than beautiful photos, of course, what else did you take away from your boudoir experience? What type of impact did it have on you?

A: Confidence! Knowledge of how to pose, a happy husband who said I look like a model. That was the best. It made me feel so happy that he loved the photos. This quote below from the movie, “We Bought a Zoo” sums up this decision to do the photoshoot.

“You know, sometimes all you need is 20 seconds of insane courage, just literally 20 seconds of embarrassing bravery, and I promise you something great will come of it.”  

Such an amazing gift a boudoir session can be.  Anniversary, birthday, fathers day, Wedding Day…. You name it. Not only does he get the best gift ever, you receive an experience like no other.
