Family Picture Day!

So, finally, my turn for family pictures.  🙂  Smiles… I think not.  Seriously, I would rather go have teeth pulled then try to take my kids pictures.  LOL  See, now, you have to understand…. my kids have literally grown up with the camera in their faces.  Not lying here, my sons first word was “cheese”…. LOL  So, understandably so, they are sick of me and the dreaded camera.  Now, I only torture them, and myself, once a year.  And, another thing, it’s not easy taking your own family pictures.  LOL  Yes, there is the tripod and the timer but man, that’s a lot of work.  So, my neighbor Ms. J so kindly offered her eye and a shutter finger to help us out.  She did this a couple of years ago and it worked out perfectly so of course I took her up on her offer.  I get the family all set up, get the camera positioned and the setting set and Ms. J pushes that shutter…. repeatedly I might add.  Hahaha… Anyway, in return, I took updated pictures of her two little girls.  Ms. L, the older sibling has been my model for the last few years so she has lots of practice.  Remember, my kids have learned to hate the camera, so when I want to try something new, I call on Ms. L.  And, I know that eventually she will get tired of me and my camera soon so I was sooooo happy when Ms. X entered this world in January.  🙂  She’s next.  Wink, Wink!  So, anyway, I have been showing off everyone elses family portraits, child(ren) portraits and High School Senior portraits I figured it was about time I showed off my family.  🙂  So, here we are along with my 2 beautiful neighbor girls.  🙂

Have a wonderful and SAFE Halloween everyone. ~Kimberly

  1. I love the new family photo! I can’t believe how grown up your kids are…it makes me feel very old 🙂 Did you do these at Price Park, the setting is beautiful for fall!!

  2. Hi Tiffany….. thank-you and hey???? the kids got way to big for words. It seems like just yesterday you were babysitting and now look at them. Talk about feeling old. LOL And no, these were taken in Milwaukee at a park I use a lot for families and seniors and have been so jealous because I have wanted to do our pictures there forever…. next year I will make sure to schedule time out for myself in middle october to get the prime time fall colors… but, for this year, it will have to do. 🙂
