Fun in the Snow
Wow, did you see the snow fly today? It was so beautiful….. I hate the cold and I really hate driving in the snow but it is so pretty. Especially the first snow fall… so clean, fluffy and white. Speaking of snow, don’t forget about Kimberly Ann Photography’s fun in the snow sessions this winter. It’s fun for the family and fun for the kids. Have fun making snow angels, having a snow ball fight, building a snow man and even a break for a cup of winter warm hot coco. Dress in you best winter brights and let’s have some fun. For more information on these special sessions, please call Kimberly at 262-492-3893 or email at kimberlyannphotography@yahoo.com for more information.

Hot off the press from the East Troy Chamber of Commerce http://www.easttroywi.org/ and the East Troy Family Community Resource Center….
The East Troy Family Community Resource Center will honor Dawn Willert and Geri Mayotte at their 6th Annual Silent Auction/Dinner on Saturday, November 15th at Ivan’s on the Square in East Troy. The event will feature a fall harvest-themed dinner and a performance during the silent auction by local Christian contemporary artist Chad James http://www.chadjamesmusic.com. The cost is $30 per person or $50 per couple. This is the largest fundraiser for the resource center. Funds allow the center to continue to provide such services as the Homework Club, craft nights, parenting assistance, family assistance, playgroups, as well as educational and informational events free of charge for children and adults in the East Troy community. The Family Resource Center is currently looking for businesses, groups or individuals interested in donating or sponsoring an item for the silent auction. This girl was not only beautiful, but she was so much fun to work with. I thought I was done with seniors for the year but then I got a call from Ms. C’s mom and wanted to schedule a session. We met for our pre-consultation appointment this past Monday and it was cold…. really, really cold. I don’t think it hit 40deg all day and we had everything from wind to snow, sleet and rain. It was UGLY. Of course, because of the weather during the beginning of the week, we were nervous what the weather would be like on our session date, which was yesterday evening. Well, low and behold, it was absolutely gorgeous. It was 65deg(ish). We honestly lucked out tremendiously and could not have asked for a better day. Anyway, Ms. C, it was an absolute pleasure taking your senior photos. I know you are anxious to see the results, so here is a little sneak peek while you are waiting for your full session to be complete. While you are visiting my blog, click on the comments link up above this post and leave me a comment. I’d love to know what you think. Thank-you, Kimberly

With Halloween and all our little goblins trick or treating, I wanted to share this email with you that I received.
I hope everyone has a safe and happy Halloween.

These candies are sold at Costco, as well as many bulk and dollar stores. please make sure to check your children’s Halloween candy and DO NOT LET THEM EAT THE PIRATE COINS (you know the ones wrapped in the shiny gold foil) and please let other parents know about this!

Wow…. and I am getting lucky with my family sessions lately. Take a look at the post a few below titled “Family of 7″…. The shot of the family up against the old white building…. fun, fun, fun. And then the family right below this post…. none of them even gave me the “what, are you nuts?” look when I said “okay, now “JUMP” LOL. Now we have our next family. They were up for anything. They left it all up to me even when I said, “I want some chickens!” LOL Check it out. How fun is that? Now this is definitely something you wouldn’t get at the large chain studios. :) Anyway, “C” family, it was soooooo fun meeting all of you tonight. I had a blast with you and I look forward to seeing all of you again. And “L”, I know that you are really, really looking forward to your sneak peek so I wanted to be able to get it up as soon as possible for you. So, here you are…. I hope you all had as much fun as I did….. Man, I love my job. LOL While you are visiting my blog, click on the comments link up above this post and leave me a comment. I’d love to know what you think. ~Kimberly
Okay, and again, the Black and White or Color debate. You decide!

This time all adults except for little cutie granddaughter Ms. J…. She is so stinkin’ cute and I think she was just diggin’ the photo shoot and all of the attention. By the way, I’d like to say happy 2nd birthday to Ms. J as well. Anyway, it was a gorgeous day. A little windy, but none the less, the temperature was perfect, the colors were perfect and the sky was perfect. :) It was so much fun meeting all of you and I’d like you to enjoy a little sneak peek until your full session is ready for viewing. While you are visiting my blog, click on the comments link up above this post and leave me a comment. I’d love to know what you think. Thank-you, Kimberly
Oh, and PS….. I found my lens cap. Don’t ask. LOL
And, How FUN is this? LOL Love it!

Yep, you read that right…. 7. :) They were so much fun and the little ones were so well behaved. The older 2, well, that’s another story. LOL I am just kidding. They were ALL fun and well behaved. I did the oldest boys senior photos this year and I was so happy when they called on me for a family session. I laughed alot then and I laughed alot at this session too. They choose “brown” for their family photos and mom kept calling them the “Brown” family. I had asked what their plans were after the session and asked if they were going out to eat. Mom laughed and said “what…. all dressed in Brown?” “Brown party, table of 7, Brown party.”…. LOL Anyway, it was great meeting the rest of you and I will be in touch soon. So, in the meantime, enjoy your sneak peek. While you are visiting my blog, click on the comments link up above this post and leave me a comment. I’d love to know what you think. Thank-you, Kimberly
